The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has launched the scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana in February 2019 to provide a financial support to small and marginal farmers across India. Through the PM Kisan Yojana eligible farmers received ₹6000 per year from the central government dispersed in 3 installments of ₹2000 each.
